Our founder’s journey
A career dedicated to transforming complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insight
Global Data Support was founded on a simple observation: understanding rare and complex diseases is often much harder than it should be. Standard healthcare coding and datasets rarely capture the full picture of where patients are treated, who has real expertise, and how care is organised.
Over the course of more than 35 years working in healthcare data and life sciences, I have seen how difficult it can be for organisations to gain reliable insight into real-world care. Much of my career has been spent helping pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations make better use of data to understand markets, clinicians, and treatment activity.
Before founding Global Data Support, I held senior leadership roles in the healthcare data industry. As Vice President responsible for OneKey at Dendrite and later Cegedim, I worked extensively on healthcare professional and organisation data across international markets. Later, as Chief Commercial Officer at Aegate, I worked closely with pharmacy data and healthcare supply chain information across Europe.
These experiences highlighted a recurring challenge: while healthcare systems generate enormous amounts of data, understanding the real clinical landscape is still difficult, particularly in rare and complex diseases where standard coding and datasets only tell part of the story.
In 2017, I founded Global Data Support to address this challenge. The company focuses on combining multiple data elements, from scientific activity to clinical involvement and institutional structures to help organisations understand where expertise lies, how care is delivered, and where and how patients are treated.
Today, Global Data Support works with pharmaceutical and biotech organisations worldwide to provide transparent, evidence-based insights into complex disease ecosystems.
I continue to lead the company with a simple principle: healthcare insights should always be explainable, transparent, and ultimately beneficial to patients and the healthcare systems that support them.
